We use natural light to photograph our gemstones. Each photo is of the individual stone offered for sale, or a representative one as to color and cut if there is a quantity offered. We attempt to have each photo be as accurate as possible. There may be reflections of clothing or fingers in the photograph.

The individual stones offered for sale are typically eye clean. In the parcels, while some of the stones may have visible inclusions, cracks, or chips, the majority of the stones are also eye clean.

Many gems are enhanced by a variety of treatments such as: heat, diffusion, and oiling to “improve or change color or clarity." If we know or suspect that a stone has been treated in any way, the treatment(s) are identified in the description. Certain gemstones, such as emerald, are typically enhanced and treated. We will identify typical treatments in the descriptions as well.
